What is DIYG?

Da’watul Islam Youth Group (DIYG) is a pioneering Muslim youth organisation which endeavours to instil Islam in people’s daily lives. We are situated in our London headquarters at Darul Ummah, yet also have a national backing with various branches in major towns and cities. Inviting the youth to the sparkling light of Islam encompasses our goal as we grow larger and more reputable each day.

Established for a long duration of time; DIYG is open to all willing to enthusiastically learn about Islam with dire passion and commitment. DIYG ensures that Muslim youth living in this country engage in Islamic teachings. Consisting of a large number of Muslims in the local community, DIYG is the youth section of Da’watul Islam UK and Eire. It considers itself as a dedicated movement; enriching the minds of the Muslim youth living in this country. We have worked with all sections of Muslim youth to develop and deliver programmes that deal with education, community cohesion, and respect of other faiths and cultures by showing our exemplary practice through our kind and informative understandings.

Dedicated to the betterment of the current and the upcoming youth generations, DIYG tries to devote time, effort and energy to practise the pure form of Islam, free from any falsehood. We aim to provide a unique opportunity to the youth of our society to enable them to explore and learn about our beautiful deen (a complete way of life) given to us by the Creator of the heavens and the earth; Allah. Put it simply, we view ourselves to be a mode of transport towards Jannah by doing what Allah asks us to do.

We understand and appreciate that living in Britain as Muslims in the 21^st century can be a challenging task and our society is far from ideal, steeped in materialism and selfishness. Yet we as Muslims must contribute towards the betterment of our society in Britain. This makes it all the more important that we come together and join hands to create a dynamic environment, a group where we can be helped and supported through our love for Islam. As a Muslim youth organisation, we need to tackle obstacles preventing us from reaching the true light; and these obstacles are what DIYG aims to counter through reasoning, peacefulness and the one form of unity; tawhid in Allah and belief in our faith.

Therefore we want YOU to join Da’watul Islam Youth Group’s vision in creating a twenty first century Islamic organisation in Britain which can be used to serve the deen of Allah. So join us as we strive together for the sake of Allah.

What do we want to achieve?

We want to develop a group of people who will serve the Muslim community and the society not for any material reward, but only to seek the pleasure of Allah.

We want to provide an active socializing platform to youngsters (away from gangs, drugs and other evils). Also to provide them with opportunity to build their life on moral teachings and practices.

We want to contribute towards the spiritual, moral and physical development of the youth and the community.

Aims & Objectives:

Our objective is to seek the pleasure of Allah through striving in His way and to attain success in both lives.

And hold fast. All together onto the rope of Allah and be not divided among yourselves

Programme:

• Dawah (Invitation): To invite all youth to the Islamic life. Preset Style Options
• Jama'ah (Organisation): To organise those youth who agree with the aims and objective of DIYG.
• Tarbia'ah (Training): To create devoted workers with good character and sacrificing leaders. To develop mental, physical & spiritual ability to play a constructive and positive role in the society.
• Social services: To help the needy section of our society.
